S.D. Tanner

Stacy Tanner comes from a long behind-the-scenes lineage, and is a produced playwright and author. In 1999, her original play, "The Great Houdini", enjoyed a successful run at the Stella Adler Theatre. Ms.Tanner took the helm for Moorpark College Performing Arts Center's "Secrets, Secrets Kill Someone", and directed the developmental run of "Off The Charts" at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks. Her one-act play, "How I Saw It", was produced by Greenlight Productions in 2015. Stacy's ten minute masterpiece, "Stak" was produced four times by four different production companies the following year, including a run in New York. "High Maintenance", based on a Stephen King writer prompt, came to life at Fresh Produced, Los Angeles. She returned to the stage, so to speak, as Nurse Jenny at Reign of Terror in 2017, and was subsequently inspired to write "Eight Into Midnight" as a tribute to the experience. She lives in California with her two sports-loving guinea pigs, Gadget and Jibs.
