Kathy A. Wittman

Dr. Kathy A. Wittman is a retired college professor who enjoys developing her creative potential in both art and literature. She has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Tennessee, a master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Tennessee, and a Doctoral degree in Educational Foundations from the University of Wyoming. In the past, she taught college classes in Education, English, and Psychology.

Kathy has published a collection of poems written by herself and her two daughters, Anna Logsdon and Sarah B. Logsdon, entitled Smoky Mountain Legacy; Setting Sail: A Collection of Modern-Day Parables; Raina's Vision Quest, a teen novel; her autobiography: Kaleidoscopic Visions of an Ordinary Life, which combines her talents in the areas of poetry and creative non-fiction; a collection of all her poems called Echoes in Times; Heaven's Lost and Found, a collection of inspirational short stories; and Canopy: A Collection of My Essays on Art, Life, Love, and Nature.

Kathy recently completed her Associate degree in Art at Laramie County Community College in Spring of 2019, and she obtained her bachelor's degree in Art from the University of Wyoming in Spring of 2020. She enjoys writing short essays and articles about a variety of subjects, including history, art history, literature, and her own unique artist statements about her works.
