Christina Banach is a former head teacher who lives in Scotland with her husband and their two rescue dogs. She is currently at work on her next book, a contemporary mystery set in the Scottish Highlands.

Minty was a Scottish Book Trust Teen's Book of the Month, shortlisted for the SCBWI Crystal Kite Award and nominated for the Cybils.
