Mark Emry began publishing gospel lessons immediately after being saved in October 1987. “I was so excited about Jesus and justification by faith alone that I just had to tell everyone I possibly could. It was soon after being saved—and knowing that I was saved by faith alone—that the Lord told me to write.” Forty Lessons later, the first volume of The Profound Christ is a compilation of select profound lessons in learning of Christ.

The father of nine children, Mark and his wife, Loralei, along with their three youngest children, reside and work in servitude to the Lord at a Christian Bible Camp in Illinois.

“Christ will become more profound and amazingly wonder-ful as you learn of him,” Mark said. “And when you endeavor to bring others to the feet of Jesus, you engage in an activity far more profitable than any business on earth.”
