Lisa Weaver

Lisa Weaver is Professor of Accounting at Warwick Business School., Associate Dean (Pedagogy).Lisa is passionate about innovations in accounting education to inspire the next generation of accounting professionals to ‘think beyond the numbers’

After qualifying (ICAEW), she spent several years in audit practice with Deloitte and was part of the national audit training faculty at KPMG. Since leaving practice, Lisa has worked in a variety of education-focussed roles, including executive education and she has maintained strong links with the accountancy professional bodies.

Lisa is awarded Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in recognition of her excellence in teaching practice and commitment to building the development of professional skills and competencies into teaching.

In 2019, along with colleagues from Aston University and De Montford University, Lisa was shortlisted for the prestigious Finance for the Future Award.

In 2024, Lisa co-authored 'Ethical dilemmas in an era of sustainability reporting' with ACCA, a report based on extensive fieldwork, providing a framework and educational case studies in this topical area.
