Dave DiNuzzo Sr. is a Catholic, Husband, Father of 4, International Speaker, Author, and Deacon-Candidate (pursuing the Sacrament of Holy Orders to the Order of Deacon in 2025 for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salina in Kansas, USA.) Dave has written for online and print publications of all kinds, including large world-famous papers and outlets. He recently published his first solo book project, “The Steep Upward Climb - Practical Knowledge about Virtue and Becoming a Saint.” Despite recently becoming disabled due to severe lung damage contracted during a month-long stay in the ICU, Dave believes that the Lord is using his daily suffering to help others and dares to say, as St. John the Baptist once did about Our Lord Jesus Christ, “He must increase. I must decrease.”
Dave has worked in a Director/Missionary/Evangelist/Speaker capacity since his undergraduate studies in 2004, working in college and young adult ministry, as a FOCUS missionary, in parish and diocesan director roles, in various apostolates, as a middle and high school Theology teacher, within his apostolate to men, and most recently as a Deacon-Candidate. All those roles pale in comparison to his role as Father to his amazing children. Dave attended The Augustine Institute (Denver, Colorado) earning his Master’s in Theology, and Benedictine College (Atchison, Kansas) earning his Bachelor’s in Business Administration concentrating in Finance and a Minor in Theology.
Dave founded TrueManhood Catholic Men’s Apostolate in 2008 to explore authentic masculinity and what it means to be a ‘TrueMan’ in the example of Jesus Christ. The apostolate has always worked to do three things: 1. Fight Pornography 2. Fight the culture’s version of masculinity, what Dave calls “cultural manliness,” and 3. Teach virtue. The DiNuzzos reside in a small rural town in Kansas, USA. For more information or to book Dave to speak at your next event, search TrueManhood online. “Blessed be Jesus Christ, True God and TrueMan.”
