Wolfgang Parker

Wolfgang Parker is the accidental author and illustrator of the award-winning "Crime Cats" middle grade mystery series. His latest book, and first collaboration with illustrator, Vinius Oorte, "Too Scary to Read Alone, Vol. I," is his first for the middle grade horror genre.

Parker's shelter reading program, in partnership with Cat Welfare Association of Ohio, received the Ohio Educational Library Media Association (OELMA) Literacy Leader Award, which honors community organizations supporting literacy that reinforces student learning. Parker also was voted one of Columbus' best authors in the 2015 ColumbusUnderground reader's poll.

His upcoming graphic novel, tentatively titled, "1888: Deklin Skurlock Investigation Casebook, Vol. I.," was successfully funded by private backers through Kickstarter and is currently in production.
