Although born and raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA, I have lived in Virginia for over 20 years. I joined the Navy immediately after high school and served six years as a Hospital Corpsman. I had a blast! Sticking with my passion to help others, I now work full time as a respiratory therapist.

I wrote this memoir so that my twin sister Kelli would not have lived and died in vain. She will have the opportunity to share a critical message and start a mission to save the lives of people (now and in the future) around the world. Here is an excerpt from Chapter One: Why?
