After graduating in 1987, I joined the United States Navy, and served as a Hospital Corpsman from 1987-1992. I was stationed at Naval Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, as well as the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. After getting off of active duty in 1992, I immediately joined the United tates Naval Reserves, and retired from there in 2009. While in the reserves, I attended Northern Michigan University, where I got my teaching certificate, with degrees in Social Studies, Physical Education (coaching emphasis), and Psychology. I received my Masters degree in 2016 in Exercise Science from the University of Pennsylvania (California, PA branch)

Since about the age of 13, fitness and exercise has beena passion of mine. Currenlty, I teach Physical Education, as well as run Peace Through Strength Personal Fitness on the side. I am a certified Health Coach via the American Council on Exercise, as well as a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also am a level I Certified Speed Specialist through the National Association of Speed and Explosion. Writing is a way that I can hoepfully reach more people to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. I have created literally 1000's of programs for people. I truly enjoy what I do, and want to do my part to help change the overall health and fitness level of our country.
