Bennett E. McClellan, Ph.D.
Bennett E. McClellan is an academic, management consultant, strategist, television producer, and writer. He is currently writing a guide for aspiring filmmakers, titled "The Ten-Day Master of Filmmaking Arts". Of course, nobody can learn all there is to learn about filmmaking in ten days. But based on the successful Ten-Day Filmmaking Academy (TDFMA) program McClellan pioneered at the Jindal Global University in India, aspiring filmmakers can learn all of the necessary steps needed to make a first film and to keep making films thereafter.
McClellan's published his first first e-book on Amazon in 2017. Titled "108 Ways to Launch Your Consulting Career While Still in Graduate School," the book provides step-by-step directions for people who want to build consulting careers, in any line of work. The book originated as a series of talks with graduate students at the Peter F. Drucker School of Management. The ideas are not just for graduate students. The principles apply to anyone who wants to successfully shift from being employed to being in charge of their own careers.
In 2017, Praeger Press published McClellan's book, Capturing Loyalty: How to Measure, Generate and Profit from Highly Satisfied Customers co-written with John Larson. Capturing Loyalty represents a collaborative work between two practicing consultants. Capturing Loyalty provides a clear and actionable formula for generating and sustaining customer loyalty.
McClellan is co-creator of The Total Question Workout (“TQW”), along with Kim Perkins, a positive psychologist. The TQW approach was born out of the quest to discover a better way of asking the RIGHT questions for business and personal management. The TQW approach emphasizes seeing problems differently in order to solve them effectively. When you answer a question you do not need to answer, your work goes to waste. Learn to ask the right questions for running your business or your life.
McClellan earned his Ph.D. in Management from Claremont Graduate University, his M.B.A. from Harvard University, his M.F.A. from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, a M.S. from the United States International University, and his B.A. in Biology/Biochemistry from UC San Diego. He is also a certified raw food chef & instructor, and a member of the American Television Academy and Writers Guild of America (West).
