Ariel Pytrell

Ariel Pytrell is an Argentine writer, poet, playwright and essayist. He was born in 1964 and grew up in Quilmes, near Buenos Aires. He has shown great interest in literature and the performing arts since childhood.

Many of his books were translated into English, French, Italian, and Portuguese. His academic background is eclectic: from Drama to Filmmaking, from Performing Art to Literature at the University of Buenos Aires; Philosophy, Mythology, and Writing.

He has lectured about JRR Tolkien and his world, taught Modern and Classical Theater for more than three decades, and directed many plays. He created an original language, Danahuacal'ate, the core of his ENEALOGIA's novel series, which the first volume is LOS MENSAJEROS DEL IRMEN ("Shadows from the End of the World").
