Lucy Bermingham

Lucy Bermingham began writing children’s books 10 years ago with a story that documented the antics of her 4 children, when they were quite young. The result was The Rascally Reality of Rosie B.

These days, her two young grandchildren, Amu and Liam provide the inspiration for the Tickety Boo books.

Tickety Boo and The Mythological Creatures is the 3rd book in this series along with The Zoo and The Ocean Blue. The 4th book in the series is about Bugs and is scheduled to be published in February, 2020.

Lucy's first book, The Rascally Reality of Rosie B, is scheduled to be republished in the near future.

Lucy earned her MA from City University London, Laban Centre and currently teaches at St John’s University in the Department of Art and Design. In addition, she is a Co-Professor in the Dance Department at Mount Holyoke College, where she also received her BA.

She is married and resides with her husband, Tom, in New York City and Tuxedo Park, New York
