Frankie O. Phillips

Frankie Phillips was graduated from W.S.Neal H.S. in East Brewton, Alabama. He earned a B.S. degree from Troy State, a masters degree from Auburn, and a doctorate from the University of Georgia. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a classroom teacher, school administrator, and university professor. He has served as pastor of several churches. At age seventy-six he turned his full attention to the writing he felt he needed to do. Within a year he published four books, and has two more almost ready to publish, with others planned. Since 2010 he has been disabled physically, but he claims to be getting smarter by the day. His writing focuses on his primary interest, the Bible, the Church, and Jesus. He is writing about these so that readers will get as interested in these subjects as he is. He loves good books, and is pleased to finally become a published author. He has worked with several publishers, including Tate Publishing, Westbow (a division of Thomas Nelson), and AuthorHouse. Frankie , who is approaching his eightieth birthday, says that he lives to write and writes to live. He claims that he is more blessed by his writing than he expects others to be, but he expects many to be blessed when they read his books.
