Maria Sand

I have been interested in paranormal phenomena since I was a child. My best childhood friend told me about clocks that stopped or pictures that fell off the wall because someone died and wanted to make themselves known that way. That was fascinating for both of us. The interest was piqued. However, I didn't start experimenting until I was almost an adult. My involvement with psi shaped my entire life and I can say that nothing else in my life was “normal”.

I trained as a bookseller, worked in a renowned bookstore, then in a publishing house, a psychiatric hospital and in a retirement home. I am married and have four adult children.

My books about paranormal phenomena have been published under the pseudonym Maria Sand. My autobiography was published under my real name, Susanne Sayici.
