Salvatore Loreto

Salvatore Loreto, PhD and MBA, works for Ericsson Research in Finland.

He is involved in standardization and research projects, strategy related to the Internet in general and in particular VoIP, Web Communication, HTTP2, security, and Machine to Machine (M2M) / IoT.

He has been active in IETF since middle of 2000 where he has co-authored several RFCs and he serves as co-chair for several wgs in both Application and Real-time Application areas. He is co-authoring all the WebRTC data-channel related drafts.

He is also IEEE senior member and serves as Associate Technical Editor in IEEE Communication Magazine and in IEEE Internet of Things journal.
