Diane L. Coalson

Diane L. Coalson is a test development and assessment expert, research psychologist, and author. For over 14 years, she was a senior research director and manager of the Wechsler research and test development team in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout that time, she was intimately involved with the development and publication of all Wechsler intelligence scales in the U.S., and consulted on international adaptations. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Texas A&M University, with special interests in test development, psychological assessment, neuropsychology, behavioral medicine, and cognitive neuroscience.
