Kim Parrish

I was born/raised in Sarnia, Ontario-home of the 'Bluewater Bridge and its famous French-fry truck!After family relocated to westcoast(Vancouver), I completed my high school and attended U.B.C. (Arts-English '82)Traveled throughout Europe and Mediterranean for a year with a backpack('83) . Eventually found my way back to Ontario(Toronto)where I worked various factory/warehouse jobs to support myself, working mostly nights and writing my 1st book during those awful muggy days!

After another stint at U.BC completing two year education program, was certified as a secondary school English teacher with prof. certificate. Taught quite happily through the '90's at Sir Winston Churchill in Vancouver-before pulling up stakes and moving to the Northeast of China(Dongbei in 2003) where I taught another year of English at a Sino-Canadian International shool.Moved to Beijing proper in 2004, met a wonderful gal. Suffered a stroke in 2006(paralyzed my left side, though I'm re-learning to walk), married that wonderful gal in 2007.We liked our three years back living in S. Vancouver, but upped stakes once more in 2012 to return to my wife's homeland(the PRC) where we now reside in Beijing!Published my first book in 2012 (Maynard &Zeke:A Liar's Playground) and the second, autobiographical one is soon to be released on-line through Amazon, Barnes &Noble!
