David B. Van Heemst

Dr. David Van Heemst is Professor of History and Political Science at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. He began the political science program there over two decades ago. He lives in Kankakee with his wife wife, April, and their five daughters: Maggie, Ellie, Ani, Libby, and Jessie. They homeschool their children from a Classical Christian perspective. They enjoy bike riding, reading books, and playing games.
