Barbara Vaka

Barbara Vaka has led an adventurous life traveling around the globe recording her experiences. She lives in Ashburn, Virginia with her husband of 52 years. Her first novel, HANKS MOUNTAIN paints a picture of skiing in Colorado where a young man finds himself fighting for what his father treasured most, a ski resort. The story is filled with mayhem and murder. She has written three novels dealing with the plight of women victims of sex trafficking. PRETTY MAIDS, CRIMES OF PASSION, and EMBROIDERED ON THE HEART. She is working on a fourth book in the series OPERATION KEFIRA to be released in 2022. It is set mainly in Washington, DC and Saudi Arabia. The first in another series, SECRETS, where intimacy and brutality collide in a timeless story that takes the reader inside the secret lives of ordinary and extraordinary people. A second edition of SECRETS, 2nd edition is available on Amazon November 2020. The second book in this series is HARD LIMITS and will be available December 2020.
