Martin J. Pasqualetti

Martin Pasqualetti is Professor in the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning at Arizona State University, USA, and a Senior Global Futures Scientist in the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Global Futures Laboratory. He is an elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, an elected Fellow of the American Association of Geographers, Distinguished Alumni of the Year (2018) at the University of California (Riverside), and was honored with the Melamid gold medal of the American Geographical Society. For more than forty years, he has been examining the relationships between energy and society, energy/land use conflicts, the acceptance of renewable energy landscapes, and the energy/water nexus. He has lately been concentrating on the recycling of energy landscapes.
