Francis Ivey

I was born Carl Francis Ivey II after my father. Born in the winter of 1950 in a town named Hereford, TX. My parents moved to Louisiana where I lived as a young boy, and that is where my first book begins. The first series of three, is all about my growing up years. Many things in childhood I learned from my granddaddy. As a young man, it was my father who taught me many skills and brought me to Alaska. Once I was an adult, my lessons I learned from live itself.

As an older man now, and a granddaddy I wanted to leave my stories for my son. I wrote a second series of books for my grandson and others. Tales of Alaska and the Animals. A little learning lesson in each of them.

I am not a great speller due to dyslexia and I struggle with spelling and sometimes grammar.

I wanted my stories shared just as I had originally written them, for that is who I am.
