Dave Starhawk Romain dedicated his life to the answering of one question; a question to which he was certain there was an answer, ‘what is the meaning of life?’ Unwilling to accept the answers Christianity, Judaism or Islam offered, he was nevertheless certain that since everyone claimed god existed, only He, She or It was qualified to answer such a question and as such would have to do so personally. This determined the route he would take in his quest for answers, an inner path rather than an outer one. Therefore, he began the difficult climb up the mountain of initiation via the paths of Zen, yoga, Meditation, Occultism, Magic, Rosicrucianism, Martinism and Masonry. Simultaneously, and half a world away, Robert A. Monroe was developing Hemi-Sync and the frequency following response. Therefore, in 1988 and 1992 Dave attended Monroe’s Gateway Voyage and Lifelines programs, actions which fully opened the door to the path within. That 40-year journey on the spiritual interstate is the foundation of his last two books, ‘Grimoire: The Spirit World Handbook’ and ‘Human: What it Means to Be’. Dave is the author of 5 books : The Ephemeral Science of Soul: Astral Journeys into Twilight, Veteran’s reprise: Musings of an Invisible Warrior, Shiloh’s Qabalistic secrets, Grimoire: Spirit World Handbook and Human: What It Means to Be.
