J. A. Putnam

J. A. Putnam was born in 1959 in the small town of Sunbury, PA and grew up in Williamsport, PA. Great change was beginning to sweep the country. The 60's were revolutionary, the 70's evolutionary! Born and raised as a boy, discovering much later in life her voice as a woman, she reviews her life in great detail seeking answers to reconcile her American small-town upbringing to the free thinking, liberating discovery that has brought her great peace and joy. Her book examines many of the mores of western society looking at religion, prejudice, interracial relationships, homophobia and the newest controversial issue facing Americas' puritanical beliefs.... Gender identity.

Currently residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest city of Seattle. She enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, fishing, and playing with her three big Labrador Retrievers Coopah, Blizzard and Jaxx.
