When Les is not writing books, he heads Facts That Matter, Inc., a publishing company that partners with mainstream publishers in the US and UK. The company also partners titles with "big media," which include The Associated Press, The Wall St. Journal, NBC News, Billboard and other major media.

As an author, publisher and filmmaker, he often rolls all all the foregoing into various titles in the sports and entertainment categories. For example, his book, "Dark Horses and Underdogs," was copublished with Hachette Books; for this work, he is the author of the title, the copublisher and producer and director of a documentary of like-title that was based on the book.
