Michael J. Krym

Award-Winning filmmaker, novelist, and playwright, with over a decade in each artistic discipline. Born in Caserta, Italy, Michael J. Krym is the son of Polish refugees who immigrated to Canada in the early nineties. Beginning his career as a Literary Author, Michael's novels include, The House of Saints (2012), Eidos: A Search for Home (2014) and Love & Garbage (2016).

Alongside his literary writing, Michael has won awards as a playwright for his original works, Okno (2017), A Bad Man's World (2018), For the Love of Late Night (2018) and Imaginary Lines (2019). Michael continues to work as a fulltime filmmaker and producer for his own company Krym & Co. Productions. Notable films as a screenwriter and director include Zero Anima (2022), Together Apart (2023), Among the Lost (2024), and Click Bang Boom (2025).
