Wanda Tucker-Bryant

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1961. Wanda grew up with 9 siblings, a quiet mother, and a Pastor for a Father. At an early age Wanda started writing and reading.(Yes she wrote before she could read). The minute she discovered poetry, her passion for rhyming literature was realized.

Due to a need for a steady paycheck her writing dreams were deferred. As an adult with two marriages and two divorces under her belt, along with 3 kids, a writing career was not an option.

Wanda is currently employed with the Broward County School Board, for the past six years, as one of the hard working lunch ladies. She has worked a total of 26 plus years in some form of public service; which included State Employee, Public Sector employment(Hospitals Liaison), and Housing Authority employee in the state of Florida.

Spending years managing school projects, her talents would not be ignored by her 4 year old son. He recognized her creative talent and from the ages of 4 through 17, his encouragement, the birth of her granddaughter,and the amount of laughable disasters(according to her son)in the home; finally convinced her to write and publish her Christian Children's Books.

Ergo, from June 2013 until August 2013, Wanda managed to write and illustrate the following books listed below with the help of our Lord God Almighty, and her two kids Austin and Amber who double checked the scriptures that are referenced in her books. Wanda's other helpers included her Aunt Jacki (editing)and her sister Sonya,(word changer).

Her oldest son Jonathan joined in later giving advice,on the illustrations(He calls it “constructive criticism”).

Jonathan advised that his siblings were better artists and insisted she

passed the artistic baton to them. Long story short, she complied.
