Terry Simons

Terry Simons is the founder and publisher of Round Bend Press Books based in Portland, Oregon. His work includes "The Children of Vaughn: The Story of Professional Baseball in Portland, Oregon (1901-2010)," "A Marvelous Paranoia: A Memoir," "Four Absurd Plays," and the award-winning play "Litany in a Trumpeter's Bog." In addition, he is the editor of the Portland anthology of poetry, prose and interviews -- "Cold Eye: A Generation of Voices."

His most recent book is "Along Came the Death Squad and Other Notes: Essays"

Mr. Simons has worked as a community organizer, journalist, media consultant, freelance writer, laborer, bartender/cook and delivery driver. He has studied journalism, politics, literature and history at the University of Oregon and Portland State University.
