William Michels

I write fiction and nonfiction that reflects my life-long love of history, my travels; and for good measure some poetry; and satire. I bring my academic training (MA in History) and my experience as an Interpretive ranger, to bear on works that are researched, such as "Beneath the Wings of Angels". I can also keep it light with works such as "The Gargoyle Murders", and travel musings. To date I have self-published ten books available through Amazon.

When I'm not writing, you will find me walking the hauntingly beautiful battlefield; and the town of Gettysburg PA; or in my studio creating drawings, and paintings of historical subjects or scenic places.
