Florence Ivy

Florence Ivy is a native of Long Island, NY, and a graduate of the creative writing program at SUNY Purchase. Chronically ill from the age of 2, but in no way bitter, she has been writing for over thirty years.

In addition to her writing, Florence is an avid photographer, and gardener, and is usually found with a camera around her neck and dirt under her nails. She continues to reside in Suffolk County, NY, in a house by the ocean, with her partner, lots of reptiles, and several poorly coordinated cats.
