Jennifer Jean

Jennifer Jean's poetry collections include The Pacific, Object Lesson, VOZ, and The Fool. Her teaching resource is Object Lesson: a Guide to Writing Poetry. She co-wrote and co-translated Where Do You Live? a Correspondence in Arabic and English Poems, and she co-translated I Drag My Sorrow by His Collar by Hanaa Ahmad Jabr. She edited Other Paths for Shahrazad: an Arabic/English Anthology of Contemporary Poetry by Arab Women and is series editor of Songs for Fairuz: New Arab Women's Poetry for Black Ocean. Her work appears in POETRY, Rattle, The Common, The Slowdown, and the Academy of American Poets. Her honors are from the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, the Mass Cultural Council, DISQUIET, and the Women’s Federation for World Peace. Jennifer organizes for the Her Story Is collective, teaches at Solstice MFA, and manages the Fine Arts Work Center online program.
