Angie Eissa (Egyptian born in 1977) as an introvert with a timid personality, she always found refuge in writing. Life to Angie is a gigantic puzzle which she strives to explore and complete. Angie comes from a literary family which had a great influence on her love for literature during her teenage years and adolescence.
While Angie has developed and advanced her professional career as a business analyst being her bread winner day job, she has profoundly realized that it was only through writing that she can have a unique voice expressing her opinions without the harsh restraints controlling the Egyptian society.
In 2005 while in the software industry, Angie began writing her first novel "Perplexed". She wrote daily as an escape mechanism to survive a personal trauma. The novel was written across sporadic phases and remained incomplete until 2009, despite the fact that Angie lived within her story throughout these five years. "Perplexed" was praised by many critics and recommended by most of its readers posing Angie as a new unique creative voice among Egyptian women and ultimately an activist for women rights.
Her second novel "Egyptian Precursors" was a sarcastic romance but written this time in her native language " Slang Arabic" which cascaded staggering success in her home country during her daily online publishing of the novel to her fans and followers and now being translated into English.
Angie is currently working on her third book planning its release in 2018 since she still has a full-time job as a mother for adorable children and a mission towards the software industry.
Angie will continue to pursue her unbeatable love for creating smart software as a Principal business architect and analyst for financial solutions while striving to fulfill her genetically-embedded calling as a modern bold female novelist, a moralist and above all a talented story teller.
