Michael Baizerman

I am an amateur historian and a self-employed writer. My first book, Dawn and Sunset, tells about the emergence of the urban civilization in ancient Mesopotamia.

I am currently doing research for my second book devoted to medieval encounters between the Latin West and the bizarre East. Selected chapters from my book and the second manuscript are published on several academic and lay sites.

Between the projects I like to write articles focusing on Biblical history.

Born in Moscow, I reside in Bat-Yam, Israel, and work as a high-school English teacher. I am married with a teen daughter.
