C. Michael Dingman

C. Michael Dingman, born in 1949 in Colorado, grew up in Gresham, Oregon and served as a combat medic in Vietnam in 1970 with the 3rd Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. (The Band of Brothers in WWII came from Easy Co., 2nd battalion, 506 Parachute Infantry Regiment.) His battalion spearheaded the northern invasion of Cambodia on May 5th, 1970 and was the only battalion to get on the ground on the first day of the largest offensive air assault operation of the Vietnam War. After returning from Vietnam the author eventually entered the ministry and has spent over 40 years in a variety of ministries. Currently he serves as a Pastor with an outreach to Sailors, Soldiers and Marines in the Hampton Roads, VA area. Unlikely Warrior is his first book.
