Julie Bernier

Originally from Yvelines in the Paris region, Julie Bernier is the creator of "Sorteztoutvert". She is particularly present on Instagram where she shares her knowledge and her tips in permaculture, ecology, but also her life in her tiny house.

In 2018, she wrote "Zero Waste: The Daily Ecology Manual" (In french - Zéro Déchet : Le manuel d'écologie quotidienne) for Solar editions: a theoretical and practical manual for a better understanding of ecological issues and how to respond to them, individually and collectively. A manual that testifies to her militant commitments in Paris and her daily practices. The book was republished in an expanded version in 2019.

This works have also been declined in diaries and wall calendar.

In 2020, after falling in love with the philosophy and techniques of Permaculture, she moved to the Landes region in France where she created permaculture gardens for several projects and individuals. in March 2021, she released "Permaculture: The manual for a living and productive garden" (In french - Permaculture : Le manuel pour un jardin vivant et productif) still published by Solar Editions, hoping to be able to transmit her experience and make it fun and simple to understand the soil and the permaculture techniques applied to the gardens. The book was also reissued in an expanded version, in March 2022.

In September 2022, she offers a "Permaculture" wall calendar, to accompany permaculturists in the making in their garden throughout the year.

Next release scheduled for October 16, 2022: "Tiny House: small house, big adventure" (In french : Tiny House, petite maison, grande aventure). A first comic strip for this author who counts her adventures experienced during the construction of her ecological house on wheels in 2021. A story as humorous as it is human, made up of (mis)adventures and a lot of love. A practical and useful comic strip that will be as pleasant to read for fans of graphic novels as for those who wish to find out how to build their own light habitat.
