Sue Pavey was born and raised in Finsbury Park, North London, England.
She is married with two grown up children and lived in Blackheath, South London for many years before recently moving to Herne Bay, Kent.
In the late 1990's, Sue became a governor at a local primary school and held a variety of office based jobs including 14 years working as a local government officer.
Her interest in writing began 15 years ago when she developed ideas for new tv shows, but her first venture into writing for children was in 2012 with her first published book, The Alphabet Friends and their Animals. It received great reviews and there are several more books in the Alphabet Friends series to come.
In 2014 Sue’s first book in the Charlie Dog series was published, the story was based on her own little West Highland Terrier called Charlie. In 2017 “Where are you hiding Charlie Dog?” was published and was a finalist in the Peoples Book prize and in 2018 “Charlie Dog’s Birthday“ was released. There are many more books to follow in this series with wonderful illustrations by Eleni Demetriou. Sue hopes children will love to follow the adventures of Charlie Dog in these easy to read, rhyming picture books
