Jacquie Tyre

Jacquie Tyre is the founder and apostolic leader of CityGate Atlanta and Kairos Transformation Ministries. Raised in a solid Christian home, godly parents and grandparents provided her with a solid foundation in the Word of God and knowledge of God. In 1988, after several years of physical challenges, hospitalizations, complicated pregnancies, and other struggles, Jacquie had a dramatic encounter with the Lord that forever changed her path. Holy Spirit asked, “Are you tired of living life your way?” To which she answered, “YES! My way stinks!”

That moment began a journey of moving from a life of faithfully following Christ to a never-ending adventure of living in communion with the Lord as the lover of her soul and the ever-present teacher, guide, and very source of her life.

Jacquie's early years of serving in the church included participating in worship teams, teaching Sunday School, women's Bible studies, leading outreach ministries, volunteering at a maternity home, and many other activities. Later the emphasis turned increasingly toward intercession and spiritual warfare. Out of her passion for prayer and intercession, she served with numerous organizations, providing leadership, training, mobilizing, and equipping the Body of Christ to take up prayer and intercession, not as a side activity, but as the foundational work for all we are to be and do.

Jacquie carries a passion for revival, awakening, and reformation that compels her to train, equip, mobilize and send people out to fulfill their God-given purpose and destiny. In 2010, God led her to found CityGate Atlanta as an apostolic kingdom center to steward her heart's call, purpose, and vision. The ministry work at CityGate Atlanta and assignments into the nation and nations keeps her busy and living God's dream for her life.

Jacquie is the author of The Corporate Armor, plus two prayer guides, The Jabez Prayer Guide and Ready for Revival. She has been happily married to Mike since 1977. They have three wonderful sons with wonderful wives who have made Mike and Jacquie the proud grandparents of four fabulous grandchildren.
