Kimberly Westrope was born in Phoenix, AZ. She began writing poetry in elementery school and has continued to put her thoughts and feelings on paper, particularly when she couldn't give them voice in real life. As an extreme introvert, she found it was much easier to express herself in the written word. Though she has outgrown most of her timidness, she still feels that her writing is her truest expression of herself.
Growing in to an avid romance reader, she decided as a young adult to try her hand at writing romance. Her writing dreams were set aside, though, while she raised her two sons as a single mom. Once her sons were grown, she seriously began to pursue her dream of being a writer.
She has published an inspirational romance novel, a Regency romance novel, and two books of poetry. Her poems are written in a straightforward and down-to-earth way that she hopes her readers will be able to relate to and say "Yes! That's exactly how I feel."
Kimberly now lives in Southern California where she enjoys a quiet lifestyle filled with books, music, family, and friends.
