Jon Dambacher has experimented with various art mediums over the last two decades: literature, theatre, sculpture & cinema. Jon has often sighted photographer Stephen Shore, comedian Richard Pryor, screenwriter Lorenzo Semple Jr., poets Blaise Cendrars & Charles Reznikoff as significant influences on his writing.
His books of fiction are, "Gyratory Jabber," "Sour Candies," "A Strange, Sickly Beauty." Books of poetry from A Jabber Publication include color collages “green” & “brown,” silent haiku in “Buster” & sound poems in “Hearingaid!” In 2020, his latest collection of poems, “eraser crumbs,” examines characters & objects in common or uncommon spaces.
He is a California native living in Chicago.
