After receiving a business degree and spending 15 years in the high-tech software industry, burnout and boredom led me to a graduate degree in education and a challenging 20 years in teaching.
Divorce, remarriage, and after raising three children, my new wife and I decided to move to Florida and into a house with a swimming pool. Although I had spent so much of my life enjoying swimming, I realized that I knew little about maintaining a swimming pool.
I had a disappointing three months as a teacher as a public school teacher in Florida and felt that another career change was in order.
Every day that I would awake, I would check to see if my pool was crystal clear, and my obsession with keeping it that way inspired me to persue my interest as a pool service technician. Through constant research and application of the science and art of pool maintenance and a successful pool service business, I have decided to share my experience and knowledge to other pool owners and business people.
