Theodore Lyons

Theodore Lyons was born in Pontiac, Ill., USA in 1960. He set a Livingston County, Ill., track record in the 200 meters and lettered in track and cross-country from 1974-76. He studied English, French, and business in high school and college; and graduated cum laude in 1982 from Illinois Wesleyan University. In Chicago, between 1982 and 2003, he attended the University of Illinois and Soma Institute before settling on writing and photography. He volunteered in the Peace Corps between 1983 and 1990 in Independent State of Samoa and Democratic Republic of the Congo; passing the Foreign Service Institute oral exams in Samoan, French, and Kintandu. He traveled across the South Pacific, Central Africa, and Eastern Canada; and lived in New England and the American Southwest. He edited for numerous scholarly journals in Chicago and Cambridge between 1986 and 1999; and self-published 17 books from 2004-14 at Xlibris. He self-published HORROR & SCI-FI, THE BOOKS OF TAROT, and GREAT AMERICAN NOVELS from 2016-25 at Kindle Direct Publishing. He was influenced by Edgar Cayce, Carlos Castaneda, Brian Weiss, Eden Gray, Gina Cerminara, and Shirley MacLaine.
