Ruth Davis Hays

Born and bred in the forests of northern Florida, R L Davis Hays enjoyed swimming in lakes teeming with turtles, kicking up dust horseback riding on dirt roads, and 'trodding the boards' at the high school and college levels. Writing since her school days in order to entertain her friends, she set thoughts of publishing aside and became a costumer at Universal Studios Orlando, as well as a wife and mother. In 2008, she picked up the pen again and finished two novels and began her third. The series of fantasy adventures, Translations from Jorthus, have dominated her writing catalog, but she has also been included in a short story anthology, SECOND HELPINGS by Second Wind Publishing, and become an editor with Triscelle Publishing on their MORRIGAN'S BROOD series.
