A. Bryant Betsill with his wife, Yvonne, have raised three children in Fayetteville, GA. Bryant's first published work was the Boy Scouts of America Venture Caving book. He wrote Broken Union, a woman's narrative of her Civil War combat service, while recuperating from unintended consequences of open heart surgery. While historically accurate, Broken Union was inspired by Bryant's work on the TNT movie Andersonville. He wrote The Letters of Paul, a modern Biblical/mystery novel for his own self help while suffering the side effects of chemo and radiation therapy. Bryant's studies of theology at Mercer University, his passion for camping, and his flair for storytelling served as his muse.
He has self published Licking the Ceiling, a journal of his cave exploring exploits, The Ghost of Christmas Past The Christmas Carol using modern social media, and is working on a cookbook for cave explorers.
