Edward R Laden Sr.

Edward R. Laden, Sr. was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. As a young man he loved to sing, perform on stage and travel. A four year tour of duty in the U.S. Air Force afforded him the opportunity to travel to numerous foreign countries.

Once he returned to the U.S. he moved to Miami and became a firefighter, rising through the ranks from firefighter to Division Chief. Once he retired in 2003 after 27 years of public service he began pursuing a life-long dream of writing mystery novels.

His award-winning first novel entitled "LEAD STORY" was published in 2013, followed in 2015 by his multi-award winning second novel entitled "THE MAJESTY-INTO THE FOG." In 2018 he will release his third novel, "LEAD STORY 2 - THE BEAST CONSPIRACY." His much anticipated autobiography," POTENTIAL" will be available in 2020.
