Luca Ciarrocca

Luca Ciarrocca is a journalist and author who has spent years analyzing the dynamics and imbalances of global power. He is the author of two recent investigative books on America, Il clan Trump and L’anima nera della Silicon Valley (the first Italian biography of Peter Thiel, published in 2026), the long-seller I padroni del mondo (2013), and other works of investigative journalism, including L’affaire Soros and Terza Guerra Mondiale (2022). He serves as the publisher and editor of a news website and writes commentary on international politics for Domani and Il Fatto Quotidiano. His Substack newsletter, Utopie & Distopie, ranks fifth in Italy in the Top Italian World Politics category. He is a recipient of both the Premiolino and Amerigo journalism awards. Ciarrocca lived in the United States for many years, serving as the New York correspondent for Il Giornale and has worked for ANSA, L’Espresso, La Repubblica, and in English for The Street. In October 1999, backed by Italian and international venture capitalists, he founded Wall Street Italia, one of the first Italian digital media startups focused on financial and economic news. He served as its editor-in-chief and CEO for 15 years, leading a team of 30 employees across New York and Milan, until its acquisition in 2014 by a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
