Olivia Jo Murray

Olivia J. Murray, EdD, is an Assistant Professor at Portland State University. She holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership with endorsements in Special Education and English Language Development. Prior to earning her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Olivia served as an Education and Community Resource Volunteer with the Peace Corps in South Africa. Her research and scholarly interests include queer-inclusive pedagogy and curriculum in education, restorative justice and culturally responsive classroom management, and differentiation. Olivia lives in Portland, Oregon with her wife and a son they welcomed into their family in December 2013.
