Francisco Muniz grew up on the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico, where he obtained a degree in education, mainly to thoroughly understand his target audience: young readers. He graduated summa cum laude and proceeded to get a doctoral degree, all the while still doing what he enjoys most, which is writing the types of stories he has always wanted to read and share with the world. He wrote the Keithan Quintero novels as a result of all the inspiration he obtained from becoming best friends with an eccentric inventor, learning about the art of flying, and even jumping out of an airplane.
