Jane C. Rosen

Jane C. Rosen is a screenwriter and author who brings insight and humor to women's issues. Drawing from personal experience, Jane's screenplays revolve around strong female protagonists confronting powerful situations pulled right from today's headlines.

Whether it's a woman in her mid-thirties finding love for the first time in impossible circumstances (Grapes), or a career driven journalist who must reach back through her lineage to find meaning (Ancestral), or a creative director climbing the ladder of the advertising biz who hits her head on the glass ceiling and spirals down, down, down the rabbit hole (ALICE), each story is a woman's journey of self-discovery that all women can relate to.

Her book, My Life as a Corporate Goddess, evolved as a humorous and somewhat sarcastic reflection of her experience at the upper ranks of the corporate menagerie. She's also co-crafted an instructional marketing book that's a real page-turner, Convergence Marketing, (John Wiley and Sons).

Jane has produced and directed TV and film, with profiles of actors, artists, business leaders and politicians. They range from the art of Annie Leibovitz and surrealist Max Ernst to the music of B.B. King and choreography of Ulysses Dove. These national and regional productions include live concert series, news and art specials, weekly magazines, music videos and documentaries.

She has placed as a finalist and semi-finalist in screenwriting competitions including the LA Femme Film Festival, New England Women in Film & Video, BlueCat Screenwriting, Moondance Film Festival and twice in the Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto. Additional awards include Emmys for Viva Victoria Opera Gala and Beyond the Front Page, a Corporation for Public Broadcasting Award for Miami Valley Crackdown, and The Ohio Governors Award for her contributions to cultural and educational television production. www.justjaneinc.com
