Karen Banfield

"My passion is getting your voice into the world, whether in writing, speaking or presenting. Especially the voices of women because the world is hungry and deeply in need of heart-centered wisdom."

Karen Banfield's early beginnings were as a professional singer and actress, performing in theaters and schools throughout the western United States and into Alaska. She has toured with Japanese Bunraku Theater, worked as an Artist in Residence for the City of Portland, Oregon, and the Waverly Home for emotionally disturbed boys.

Karen has worked as a mental health counselor, intuitive and emotional healer for more than 30 years, and appeared on national television as a featured guest at NBC.

Her latest book, Tarantulas Fudge and Altered Reality, is perfect for a morning commute or sitting in a café after work, but be forewarned, waiters and commuters may look at you funny when your eyes well up or you burst out laughing. Karen's gypsy-like experiences and raw honesty will have you reading her books more than once and begging for more.
