Steven Guemann received his PhD in Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley, with a specialization in Hispanic Linguistics. He taught Spanish, French and German at both the high school and college levels and has devoted many years to writing textbooks for Christian and home schools. He authored the A Beka Book series in Spanish and French and has since written sequels to the Spanish series, PASEMOS ADELANTE and OJOS EN LA META. In addition, he has written numerous ancillary materials to aid students in learning foreign languages. He is currently writing an illustrated series of books in English verse, ANIMALS ARE MIRACLES, designed for young readers and small children. Steven has lived in California most of his life, where he and his wife enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. When he is not writing, Steven enjoys painting, travel and the beauty of the Sierra foothills.
