Born in Leipzig in 1961, married, three children, six grandchildren. Studied theology, doctorate in education, psychological consultant at the Dresden Health Authority. Chairman of the Dresden Institute for Adult Education and Public Health. Together with his wife, he has been offering couples counselling since 1998.
